Sustainable tourism management

The study program in English management in sustainable tourism development in the second two-year cycle of university studies emerged as an idea from the fruitful collaboration between the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality - Ohrid University on Sustainable Development in Eberswalde, Germany. Thus, this study program is meant to be implemented by a team of university professors, from the School of Tourism and Hospitality in Ohrid and the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde, Germany. Thus the students are given the unique opportunity to attend lectures by professors from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality in Ohrid, an institution that has a tradition of 45 years of research on tourism, as well as eminent professors from the University of sustainable development in Eberswalde, Germany a country which is known for taking care of the environment and sustainable development.

Besides lectures, interactive classes, tutorials and other methods of learning, this program provides organized thematic seminars at international partner universities, as well as a week-long study trip which should include examples of sustainable tourism in a particular region in a foreign country.

This program includes 6 compulsory and 4 elective courses that provide the students with 120 credits. With the completion of the second cycle academic studies, ie achieving 300 credits, students magistrate and acquire a degree of Master in Management of Sustainable Tourism Development (MA in sustainable tourism management).
